Position Overview:
As an Intern at Bootflow Academy, you will be an integral part of our project team, working in a real-world Agile/Scrum environment. Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QAs, DevOps Engineers, and UX-UI Designers to prepare test plans, execute manual and automated test cases, report bugs, and ensure the stability and quality of our web application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive test plans and execute manual and automated test cases for new features of our web application.
- Report, track, and verify bugs/defects in the web application.
- Perform smoke and regression testing to ensure stability after updates.
- Engage in CI/CD processes (build, test, deploy through Jenkins/GitHub).
- Experience the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and validate features.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Good understanding of the Java programming language.
- Knowledge of manual and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Junit, TestNG, Rest Assured, Postman, Swagger, Git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins).
- Experience with agile methodologies and a commitment to a quality mindset in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Successful completion of the internship interview.
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Goals / Outcomes:
- Collaborate closely with a development team, gaining experience in software testing and working as an integral part of the QA team.
